It's time for athletes to prove they belong in the world's top athletes with the advantage of home snow. Ahead of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023, the Slovenian team of 32 athletes and their professional management presented their goals for the season's climax. The main part of the burden will be on the shoulders of the ski jumping team, which has signed all 22 podium finishes in the three disciplines that are also on the schedule in Planica this season.
The Championships will start with the Opening Ceremony in the Ponce Valley on 21 February, the first medal battles will take place two days later and the curtain will fall on the competition on 5 March.

The Slovenian Ski Federation added that ticket sales have increased significantly with the introduction of the afternoon ticket, but more will be known during the Championships and when the final proceeds are available after 5 March.
