Slovenia will host the Volleyball Men’s World Championship between 26 August and 7 September. This is the most visible and prestigious volley competition in the world. The International Volleyball Federation bestowed special recognition upon Slovenia as an exceptional organiser of important sporting events and entrusted the Volleyball Federation of Slovenia the organisation of volleyball matches in four pools. This means that we will be able to watch top-quality volleyball in the Stožica Arena, including matches of the round of 16 and the quarter-final.
On this occasion, we have asked certain foreign ambassadors to Slovenia for their statements. We believe that this is a good opportunity to showcase Slovenia to their compatriots who may want to watch the matches of their national teams. Furthermore, this will be a nice way for them to discover Slovenia and its beauty.
