Best Chef Awards 2023: Ana Roš secures 3rd place and stands as the sole female chef in Top 10

The highly anticipated results of The Best Chef Awards 2023 were unveiled during a glamorous awards gala in Yucatan. Ana Roš demonstrated an impressive rise in the ranks, climbing six places from her 2022 position. This year, she clinched an extraordinary 3rd place, solidifying her status as the only female chef in the prestigious top ten.

In a groundbreaking move, The Best Chef Awards took its seventh edition outside of Europe, orchestrating a captivating event from November 18 to 20. This global celebration featured compelling talks, debates, demonstrations, and show cooking, all centered around the theme Origins & Future, culminating in the announcement of the world’s best chef.

The 2023 list showcases chefs from 35 countries, with Spain leading with an impressive 15 chefs. Chef Dabiz Muñoz of DiverXo in Madrid claimed the top spot, closely followed by Chef Albert Adrià of Enigma in Barcelona. 

Slovenian chef Ana Roš from Hiša Franko, made a remarkable leap from her 9th position the previous year to secure the coveted 3rd spot.
