Traditional Slovenian breakfast - my favourite breakfast!

The first Slovenian Food Week will be rounded off today with the traditional Slovenian breakfast. For the 14th year in a row, many schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions will start with the traditional Slovenian breakfast on the third Friday in November, promoting local food and raising awareness of the importance of home self-sufficiency.

Slovenian Food Week rounds off with a traditional Slovenian breakfast

Offering bread, butter, honey, milk and fruit of Slovenian origin, it was first launched as a project in kindergartens and primary schools across the country in November 2011, and since 2012 it has been held on the Slovenian Food Day, which has been replaced this year by the Slovenian Food Week. This year, the breakfast is held under the slogan Traditional Slovenian breakfast - my best breakfast!
