Official Olympic Collection at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Paris will not only be the centre stage of sport, where the best sportsmen and sportswomen will compete for the highest Olympic honours, but they will also present their clothing. The Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games will become a catwalk where not only the best athletes will be showcased, but also the special Olympic collections will be highlighted.

The design of the garments was once again created by Sandi Murovec, a long-time collaborator of the Slovenian Olympic Committee, with whom the umbrella Slovenian sports organisation has been working since the London 2012 Olympic Games.

 The Slovenian sportsmen and sportswomen will be presented to the French and world public in elegant dark blue and grey combinations, with a light grey beret as a tribute to the tradition of the hosts. Designer Sandi Murovec said of the beret that it is the most elegant and functional piece, and he wanted to pay tribute to France and its fashion tradition.

Sandi Murovec, designer of the Slovenian Olympic collection Paris 2024, who has been responsible for the unforgettable image of the Slovenian team at the Games since 2012, added: "Every new collection is really special and challenging for me, as I have to follow certain graphic and content guidelines. The garments have to build on each other in terms of design and not be mutually exclusive. This time, I wanted to get closer to the sophistication and elegance of Paris, which is the capital of fashion. To do this, we added a little more dark blue, which looks more serious, strong and elegant, we blurred the lines of the colours and we added a headpiece, a beret, which I think further emphasises this sophistication of the outfit, which we wanted to achieve in the garments for the opening ceremony. According to the athletes who have already had the opportunity to wear the collection, they are impressed by its comfort, functionality and elegance. They will definitely wear it again after the Olympics, during leisure and recreational activities."

Like all the previous collections, this year's collection is decorated with the traditional colours, which are protected by the Slovenian Olympic Committee, and the Triglav stripe. But the Slovenian athletes' Olympic "uniforms" are still special every time.

This year's collection features a French beret, which will be worn by members of the Slovenian Olympic delegation at the opening ceremony in Paris.

The beret, in light grey, will complement the Opening Ceremony outfit and add a touch of elegance that is desirable for this unique event.

"Winning, distinctive and functional. This will be the outfit of our Olympians, in which they will achieve outstanding results, string together successes and make us, Slovenians, even prouder," designer stressed.

The Paris 2024 collection is once again prepared in cooperation with the traditional outfitter of the Slovenian Olympians, the PEAK brand.

The latest Olympic collection was among the first to be tested by athletes, who ensure that the garments are comfortable, stylish and functional. And they can wear them for an event like the Olympics, as well as for leisure or recreation afterwards.
