The 55th MOS Fair dedicated to green transition, digitalisation and labour shortage

The 2023 MOS International Trade Fair, held at Celjski sejem between 13 and 17 September, will focus on the green transition, digitalisation and the labour shortage, featuring 650 exhibitors from 25 countries.

This year's event will focus on five areas - MOS Home, MOS Tourism, MOS Tech, MOS B2B and MOS Plus.

The Chamber of Craft and Small Business (OZS) will present its sections, members and business partners with a Street of Crafts.

An international business meeting Connect2Slovenia will bring together over a hundred entrepreneurs from 10 countries to discuss how to promote craft business and deal with staff shortages small businesses have been dealing with for years.

"That is why promoting crafts is so important. After a great turnout last year, we will again be showcasing shortage occupations at the Street of Crafts this year," said the chamber's president Blaž Cvar.

The chamber will also host a roundtable on labour migration between Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. A round table will be held on the new legislation on handicrafts alongside a presentation of loans and grants.

The I Feel Slovenia brand takes centre stage

The Slovenian Government’s presence at this year’s MOS will be the strongest to date.

In addition to their own content and visual identity, the ministries’ exhibition booths will be promoted under the national brand I Feel Slovenia, which expresses Slovenia’s identity and represents the people and everything else that is Slovenian.

The brand tells the story of Slovenia from various aspects, but promoting the country as a whole, both at home and abroad. Its main message is that one can simply feel Slovenia. The brand’s distinct green colour brings a sense of tranquillity to the exhibition venue and invites visitors to feel Slovenia, while raising the visibility of the participating ministries.

The fair will be attended by a number of ministers and company representatives, providing an excellent opportunity for visitors to get all the information they need.
