Best conditions for training and matches
Ljubno has been a ski jumping town for more than eighty years. At the beginning of this millennium, the facilities were given a plastic base and lighting, which ensures that Ljubno has the best conditions for ski jumping training and competitions in Slovenia. The largest facility, which allows jumps over 100 metres, is built according to FIS rules. Since 2006, it has successfully hosted the women's Ski Jumping Continental Cup, and in 2012, the world's best female ski jumpers competed in their first World Cup competition. The Ljubno event is considered the most visited and media-hyped event of the Women's Ski Jumping World Cup. Also in summer, the ski jumping hill hosts international competitions.
