In the heart of Ljubljana, the 40th Slovenian Book Fair, held from November 26 to December 1, 2024, at the Exhibition and Convention Center, marks a significant milestone.

This year’s guest of honor is Croatia, bringing exciting international collaborations and strengthening ties between Slovenian and Croatian authors.
The fair offers an expanded exhibition space showcasing 110 exhibitors, ranging from major publishers to independent creators. Admission to the fair and its events is free, encouraging broad public participation. The program spans several venues, such as the Main Stage, Youth Stage, Discussion Station, and Comics Corner. These areas provide visitors of all ages and interests opportunities to engage, whether through in-depth debates or interactive content
