Vitranc Cup to raise the profile of Slovenia and its economy

To achieve synergies between business, tourism and sport, the public agency SPIRIT Slovenia has joined the partnership of the FIS Men’s Alpine Skiing World Cup event taking place in Kranjska Gora on 11 and 12 March 2023.

The agency will use the opportunity of the Vitranc Cup’s strong international media coverage, exceptional viewership and visibility to appeal to international audiences to get to know the beauty of Slovenia and its economy.

“We present Slovenia as a suitable location for investment and a reliable partner for business cooperation; we emphasise the sustainable orientation of our country, the creativity and innovation of Slovenians, and the smart solutions of Slovenian companies, which is perfectly summarised in the communication campaign I feel Slovenia. Green. Creative. Smart.”, explains acting director Rok Capl.

The Vitranc Cup is one of the oldest alpine skiing competitions and one of the largest, best-organised and best-attended traditional sporting events in Slovenia. The innovative advertising approach pioneered at this year’s Golden Fox Cup will also be used at the Vitranc Cup. The LED start installation will be equipped with selected iconic Slovenian tourist sights, which will be displayed alternately before the start of each competitor.

They will also organise accompanying business events, a comprehensive presentation of the Slovenian business environment and business networking. As the main partner of the Vitranc Cup, they will also use the event to celebrate a special anniversary, as SPIRIT Slovenia is celebrating its 10th anniversary under its current name (in total it can boast a 30-year history of success). On 11 March in Kranjska Gora, they will celebrate the anniversary in style and pave the way for new victories!
